Slow loris was one of the featured start-ups at The Start- Up Story, an event aimed at promoting Youth Entrepreneurship, which was held on 19^th June 2009.

During this event, youths from the various institutions in Singapore got the chance to understand how young individuals like themselves succeeded on their entrepreneurial quest. These entrepreneurs-to-be also got their burning questions were answered by an experienced Panel. This Panel comprised Elim Chew of 77^th Street, who was also the Guest-of-Honour, and Nicholas Chan, the Managing Director of Fredrik Marine and also the Executive Director of Azione Capital.

Furthermore, emerging start-ups were given the chance to showcase their products to Venture Capitalists and Government agencies. The Slow loris booth was filled with our vibrant products, informational material, and even featured a Memory Challenge where participants stood a chance to win a Messenger Bag of their choice!(see next post)

Psst…can you spot our founder, Sarah, all smiles as she receives a prize on stage? Slow loris actually bagged the “Most Promising Start-Up” title, based on all the “Votes of Confidence” that were cast by our supporters and those impressed by our booth!
